SLOW COOKER CHICKEN AND GRAVY

Ingredients:


4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 packet of dry ranch dressing mix
1 packet of dry chicken gravy mix
1/2 cup of unsalted butter, melted
1/2 cup of chicken broth
Salt and pepper to taste


Directions:

  1. Place the chicken breasts at the bottom of a slow cooker.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the dry ranch dressing mix, dry chicken gravy mix, melted butter, and chicken broth.
  3. Pour the mixture over the chicken, making sure that each breast is well coated.
  4. Cover the slow cooker and cook on low heat for 6-7 hours, or on high heat for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
  5. Using two forks, shred the chicken in the slow cooker and stir it into the gravy.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Serve the Slow Cooker Chicken and Gravy hot over mashed potatoes, rice, or your favorite side dish.
