Caramel Apple Dump Cake

Ingredients:

1 box yellow cake mix
2 cans (21 oz each) apple pie filling
1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
1/2 cup caramel sauce
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Whipped cream, for serving (optional)


Directions:
1- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
2- Spread the apple pie filling evenly into a 9×13 inch baking dish.
3- In a separate bowl, mix together the cake mix and ground cinnamon.
4- Pour the dry cake mix evenly over the top of the apple pie filling.
5- Drizzle the melted butter and caramel sauce over the cake mix.
6- Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the cake is golden brown and the filling is bubbly.
7- Let the cake cool for a few minutes before serving with whipped cream, if desired.
